Premium organic extra virgin early harvest cold extraction olive oil with high polyphenols, produced directly from olives and only by mechanical methods. In the Monastery, there is a modern certified olive mill, which is the continuation of the old stone-built olive mill. One of the main occupations in Monastic life is the production of olive oil, important for everyday life, worship, nutrition and also finding resources for the functions of the Monastery. The Holy Great Monastery of Vatopedi, having decades of experience in olive cultivation and olive oil production, selects with strict criteria fine olive oils that are produced exclusively by collaborating Monastic Olive Groves in accordance with the cultivation practices of the Holy Great Monastery of Vatopedi.
